Our Business Law Group is currently looking for a full-time Not-For-Profit Law Clerk.

Scope & Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be a positive professional who can assist our lawyers with the utmost attention to detail. She/he will be proactive, creative and always exploring ways to improve efficiencies and meet the needs of clients, while maintaining professionalism at all times. 

This individual will deal with various corporate not-for-profit matters, including drafting legal documents, conducting research, due diligence and managing client relationships. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: handling complex legal matters for charities and not-for-profit corporations (including amalgamations, mergers, incorporations/organizations, continuances, amendments etc.). Performng Minute Book reviews and all other related matters, including charitable registration and maintenance of a large number of private and public foundations and charitable organizations. 


Skills & Qualifications Required

The preferred candidate has a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Not-For-Profit Law Clerk. Excellent knowledge of federal and provincial corporate and not-for profit statutes and corporate procedures. Exceptional communication, technical, interpersonal and client service skills.
