Shene is an associate in Ross & McBride’s Litigation Group. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Legal Studies and Political Science from University of Waterloo and received her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Ottawa.
During her studies at law school, Shene volunteered with the Elizabeth Frye Society and Pro Bono Students Canada, which culminated in her authoring an informational guide for women held in immigration detentions. She was also a member of the University of Ottawa’s Association of Women and the Law.
Shene practices in all matters of civil litigation with an emphasis on commercial and estate litigation matters. She has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Small Claims Court and other adjudicative bodies on a variety of matters.
In her spare time, Shene enjoys traveling, live music and theatre.
