Scope & Responsibilities
Our Wills and Estates Department is currently looking for a full-time legal assistant to work with a senior estates lawyer. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast paced, extremely busy environment.
Skills & Qualifications Required
The ideal individual will have a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in the area of Wills and Estates. Experience with drafting applications for CAET’s and passing of accounts as well as Wills and POAs is essential. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, have the ability to manage priorities to ensure all deadlines are met, be able to multi-task, complete work with great accuracy, work independently, follow instructions with minimal supervision, take initiative, when required, and be efficient with time management.
The candidate will also possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, which are necessary to draft correspondence and legal documents, schedule meetings and communicate effectively with clients and lawyers.
