Prior to being called to the bar 25 years ago, Andrew received his LL.B from Osgoode Hall Law School; his B.A. and M.A. from York University. He has appeared in all levels of Court in Ontario.
Andrew is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Western University where he teaches Insurance Law. He frequently speaks at legal education events relating to advocacy, tort, insurance, civil procedure and legal ethics.
In the community, Andrew is on the Hamilton Integrated Research Ethics Board and the Board of Directors of Empowerment Squared.
Andrew is a former President of the Hamilton Law Association; a former Director of the Advocates Society; and a recipient of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association’s Distinguished Service Award.
Andrew is an Elected Bencher of the Law Society of Ontario. That means he is one of the 40 lawyers elected by the 50,000 lawyers of Ontario to govern Ontario’s legal profession the Public’s interest.
Andrew is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Lawyers Professional Indemnity Company (LawPRO) which is the sole insurance company providing primary liability coverage to all 28,000 lawyers in private practice in Ontario.
