Jaclyn Gates is an associate in the Estates and Trusts Group at Ross & Bride LLP.
Jaclyn holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Studies, with a Minor in Global Development, from Queen’s University. While at Queen’s, Jaclyn completed a year of her degree in Reims, France studying at Sciences Po where she specialized in International Law.
Jaclyn attended the University of Windsor and obtained her Juris Doctor in 2018. During her time at law school, she was actively engaged in Windsor’s Community Legal Aid Program, volunteering first as a caseworker and then as a litigator. Jaclyn organized Windsor Law’s Social Orientation Committee which was responsible for welcoming over 200 new law students to the program each September. Jaclyn was also a committee member of Windsor Law’s Municipal & Planning Law Association.
She completed her articles with Ross & McBride LLP.
Prior to relocating to Hamilton, Jaclyn was raised in a small town near London, Ontario. She is now a proud Hamiltonian and eager to represent clients in the region. She enjoys exploring the Hamilton food and drink scene, travelling and spending time with family and friends.
