Year of call:
As a lawyer in the Business Law Group, I am here to assist clients from all walks of life. Are you a small business owner? I can assist with identifying your business's needs and advise you on a structure that helps address those needs. Are you a first time home buyer? I can help you understand every aspect of the largest purchase of your life to date. Are you a charity or not-for profit? I can draft documents that will help your corporation transition within the parameters of the new Ontario Not-for Profit Corporations Act. Whoever you may be, I am here to take your call and assist where I can.
I was born in Hamilton, raised in Haldimand County, and I received my Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy in 2021 after completing my studies in the Dual Program at both institutions. During my legal studies, I actively participated in a variety of moots including the Zuber, ALTA and Labour Law Moot. I also completed a judicial externship with the honourable Judge Miriam Bazzi at the Wayne County Circuit Court in Detroit, Michigan and represented clients at the Criminal Law Clinic at the 36th District Court in Detroit, Michigan. However, my broad law school and articling experience at Ross & McBride guided me to a career in Business Law.
Prior to law school I received my honours bachelor of arts in Criminology from Wilfrid Laurier University in Brantford. While I was there, I competed on the varsity indoor-soccer and cross-county teams.
When I am not working, you can find me engaged in the community, on the golf course or watching the New Orleans Saints.
