Articling Program
We believe articling is an essential foundation-building opportunity, and our practical and comprehensive approach ensures our students are fully involved in all aspects of professional life.
When you article with Ross & McBride, you’ll learn from award-winning lawyers from a diverse range of practice groups. Our students-at-law enjoy flexibility, autonomy, independence, and the opportunity to tailor their articling experience to their personal areas of interest. With the support of an accomplished articling principal, each student benefits from a unique learning and working experience, backed by expert guidance and the resources of a full-service law firm.
Without a formal rotation program, you’ll have the option to work with every one of our practice groups. You can be actively involved in both solicitor and barrister work, which is a great way to broaden your perspectives and pick up transferable skills that will support your future career.
You’ll have broad exposures to all aspects of practicing law. You will attend various Courts and tribunals to address matters and advocate on behalf of clients, participate in trials and mediations, carry your own Small Claims Court files, conduct research memos, draft pleadings and legal filings, join strategy meetings, attend networking events and much more.
