About
Alisha Krishna is an associate in the Employment Law Group at Ross & McBride. Alisha is dedicated to fighting for clients’ rights in the workplace, ensuring that their human rights and dignity are respected and violations are not tolerated.
Before joining the firm, Alisha represented the Ontario Human Rights Commission, participating in systemic litigation before courts and the Human Rights Tribunal to advance human rights on a broad scale. Before that, they were an articling student for the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development.
As a student, Alisha worked at the University of Toronto’s legal clinic in the Employment and Academic Appeals Division. Alisha represented employees seeking to enforce their rights in the workplace and also supported students at risk of being removed from their university programs because their protected Human Rights Code characteristics, like family status or disability, were unaccommodated.
When people are treated unfairly or disrespectfully at work, Alisha advocates on their behalf to put things right and restore their dignity and self-worth.
