Joe van der Woerd is an articling student at Ross & McBride who completed his legal studies at Western University. While studying at Western, he participated in Western Law Advocacy Competitions, and was awarded first place in Western’s Hockey Arbitration Moot.
During law school, Joe worked as a Program Manager for the Sport Solution Clinic, where he provided legal research on sports law and supported Canadian National team and Olympic athletes facing legal disputes. Joe holds a degree in Sports Management from Calvin University, where played Volleyball for four years. In his spare time, Joe enjoys spending time with family and friends and watching sports.
