Sandy Athwal is an Associate in Ross & McBride’s Family Law Group. She is committed to helping individuals and families navigate some of life’s most challenging transitions with practical advice, strategic advocacy, and compassionate support.
Sandy represents clients in all aspects of family law, including separation and divorce, parenting disputes, child and spousal support, property division, marriage contracts, cohabitation agreements, and domestic contracts. She understands that every family is unique and works closely with her clients to develop tailored legal strategies that protect their interests while seeking practical, cost-effective resolutions.
A skilled negotiator and advocate, Sandy regularly represents clients in negotiations, mediation, arbitration, and before the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice. Whether resolving matters through settlement or litigation, she is committed to ensuring her clients are well-informed, thoroughly prepared, and confidently represented at every stage of the process.

Outside of her practice, Sandy enjoys travelling, hiking, practicing yoga, and spending quality time with her family.
