About
Sean Adsett is an articling student at Ross & McBride. After completing his legal studies at the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University, Sean is happy to be back in the GTHA. During his studies he worked with the Halifax Public Prosecution Service and volunteered with Halifax Legal Aid and the Dalhousie Student Advocacy Service. His strength in advocacy led to him winning the Gowling WLG R.A. Smith Prize in Advocacy. Shared with two other students, the prize represents the highest combined standing in Civil Trial Practice, Civil Procedure, and Insurance Law.
Sean’s earlier volunteer work included supporting unhoused populations in Hamilton and leading the Social Justice and Peace Club in London, Ontario. When he isn’t working, Sean enjoys exploring Hamilton’s restaurant scene and attending live music events, as well as playing hockey and golf.
